So the AZ shooter is a member of the “tolerant LEFT” and described as "quite liberal" and as a "political radical" by a close friend. I wonder what his enemies say about him? The media seems to be overlooking this bit of information...as well as the rest of the “Kill Bush and Cheney” hate rhetoric spouted daily by the “tolerant” left for 8 years going on 10 now. They seem, however, remarkably able to remember everything Sarah Palin ever said that could be twisted into something it was not though. Apparently, the left’s “tolerance” only extends to those who think and act as exactly as they do. The ultimate penalty for being outside their rather narrow zone of tolerance seems to be death.

Last month, Transportation Security Administration chief John Pistole said his agency wouldn't do cavity checks because secondary screening procedures and technology can find fuses and detonators, which must be outside the body.

...what utter BS that initiators must be outside the body and are therefore detectable. Cell phone signals penetrate the human body and cell phones are the main method of exploding IEDs now. I foresee a great future for med school graduates in proctology and gynecology...TSA will be hiring...buy stock in latex gloves. To Mr. Pistole, all I can say is, “John, apparently explosives aren’t the only thing up somebody’s butt....”

Better Technology

If Big Sis was as smart as she thinks she is, she should have insisted on better specifications for the airport scanners. The scanner should have been designed to be autonomous, capable of detecting explosives as well as metal objects, with the ability to differentiate between medical implants and prosthetics and guns and knives, all without human intervention. Humans get tired and lax, machines do not. We do have the technology.
