We Are Stupid!

We cheer our congresspeople when they "bring home the bacon" in the form of some federal tax money "earmarked" for a local project. How stupid we are! It would have been better if the money had never left the state in the first place and the federal government had not raked off some significant percentage in administrative overhead! We are paying the federal government to give us back some of our own money. WHY??

Defense Budget Shortfall

Whatever the military budget shortfall, it should be taken out of the Department of Energy's funding which has never produced a single kilowatt of energy or discovered a drop of oil and that goes double for the sub departments of Education and Welfare which seem to be producing little more than idiots incapable of caring for themselves. National defense IS a Constitutional mandate; the others ARE NOT.

Great Humanitarian Idea

I was just struck with a great humanitarian idea!. I think the UN should be moved to Haiti to boost their economy as they are in dire need of a permanent cash flow. It's just the right thing to do. The US could pay for a new building and the whole move and break even in two years or less just on unpaid traffic fines and the cost of extra police, secret service, FBI and bomb disposal costs.

I Am Confused

I am confused, or somebody is. How is it the Obama Administration is considering "legal" action against Arizona for enacting and enforcing what is a essentially a duplicate of federal immigration statutes? Federal law states that it is a crime to be ANYWHERE in the ENTIRE COUNTRY illegally. The Arizona law makes it a crime to be in Arizona illegally. Well...DUH! Did Arizona secede? Are there now only 56 states? I fail to see the disconnect except the main one between the Administration and the rule of law as understood by any literate member of American society.

Master

I watch the struggles as little people subjugate smaller people confined by arbitrary lines on paper and proclaim themselves "master" over them. Now there are those who would subjugate all mankind to be the global master. How foolish; how futile. No man or multitude can be "Master of this World". My Father gave my Master dominion over this small speck in the universe, this universe and countless other universes as yet unseen and untold. My Master holds in His hand the next breath and next heartbeat of any who would call themselves master here. Who, then, is truly master? Only a stupid one would claim dominion over that which cannot be his lest the true owner appear and destroy him. Therefore, would be "masters", you are not mine. I am His. Trouble me no more with your pompous vain glory. My Father cast your father out of His house. Here he is just another homeless wanderer, a dark vagabond with no future.
