Not Adapting Well

I am not adapting well at all to our new federal government environment. I think it is unconstitutional in just about every aspect. Congress needs to forgo a "vacation" and be forced to take a two month course in high school civics and Gov. 101 and 201 for 8 hours a day six days a week, with an exit test. Failures repeat the course; no pass, no vote. Then they can explain to the electorate, in agonizing detail, exactly how they are going to dismantle unconstitutional legislation dating back to FDR.

Good Ol' Boy's Club

If the NRSC cannot open its mind and arms to support conservative Republicans elected by the people I see no reason why the people should open their wallets and checkbooks to support the NRSC. Maybe it is time to close the doors on the "Good Ol' Boy's Club" in DC.

Professional Politicians

I don't trust anyone who has been in public office more than 12 years. Congress was never intended to be a career and I dislike career politicians. They are self serving, inveterate nest featherers, pathological liars, professional pickpockets and lean toward imperial arrogance, considering the electorate an unnecessary irritant and an impediment to their continued self awarded life of power and luxury. They inevitably forget who brought them to the dance and why they are there.

Third Story

Many, many horses were stabled in the cities at the turn of the 20th century. I think someone once said that NYC could never exceed one million people as the horse dookey would rise to the third story. Checking the news this morning, third story is the apparent level of horseshit in ALL the major cities, particularly NYC and Washington DC, and there are very few horses stabled in the cities now. Apparently the level has nothing to do with the presence of large animals.

Fashion Statement

Since the president is such a vocal apologist for Islam and its tenets and after having viewed the first lady's choice of attire on several occasions I am forced to reassess my original utter distaste for the burqa. It may be the one fashion statement this administration can make to help preserve what little, if any, dignity this administration may have left.
