I pity those few ultra rich who have only the competition among themselves for world domination to provide any stimulation or pleasure in life. They will never know the thrill of seeing spring's first jonquil or enjoy a night of untroubled sleep. What power corrupted, wretched lives they must live knowing they will not long enjoy the fruits of their struggle and that all they have will soon pass to another; even their names will be forgotten, having impressed neither the pawns in their game nor their Maker. They are objects of pity, not awe.
