Protected golden eagles in CA dying after colliding with 'eco-friendly' wind turbines...
This has been going on for years!...and it is not just eagles. It is anything with feathers that flies. Birds, especially migratory birds, often use favorable air currents to travel long distances. Local birds often use favorable air currents to travel about in their areas. Wind turbines use favorable air currents to operate more efficiently and are placed where the air currents are favorable. Was there not one single eco-idiot capable of foreseeing this conflict? I mean it isn’t rocket science, just plain common sense. Another expensive, poorly thought out, feel good “green” idea that destroys what they claim to protect. I wonder if a condor hit messes up the turbine blades?
