Enjoy The View
I am not surprised that the leftist battle cry of "Separation of Church and State" does not apply to abortion at church owned facilities, but then the "tolerant", two-faced left has always been afflicted with incurable Forked Tongue Syndrome hasn't it? Shame on the Catholic hospitals for forcing non Catholics to use it...possibly at gunpoint...that is what has been happening isn't it? The ACLU as well as the far left have bent over backwards so far to kill unborn children that they can now kiss their own behinds. I hope they enjoy the view. ---William Fortner 2010---

Frankenbombers
Frankenbombers are 'new kind of terrorism': Al Qaeda hopes to surgically implant bombs into thugs.

Last month, Transportation Security Administration chief John Pistole said his agency wouldn't do cavity checks because secondary screening procedures and technology can find fuses and detonators, which must be outside the body.
"You have to have some external device to cause that initiation," he said. "That's what the advanced imaging technology machine will pick up: any anomaly outside of the body."
...what utter BS that initiators must be outside the body and are therefore detectable. Cell phone signals penetrate the human body and cell phones are the main method of exploding IEDs now. I foresee a great future for med school graduates in proctology and gynecology...TSA will be hiring...buy stock in latex gloves. To Mr. Pistole, all I can say is, “John, apparently explosives aren’t the only thing up somebody’s butt....”

Better Technology
If Big Sis was as smart as she thinks she is, she should have insisted on better specifications for the airport scanners. The scanner should have been designed to be autonomous, capable of detecting explosives as well as metal objects, with the ability to differentiate between medical implants and prosthetics and guns and knives, all without human intervention. Humans get tired and lax, machines do not. We do have the technology.

Letter To Senators and Representative
24 November 2010
Senator XXXXXXXXX,
I am grieved beyond belief or imagination that I feel compelled to write a letter like this to one whom I deeply respect and hold in high esteem.
It is obvious to even the most casual observer that there are only three things lacking in the current TSA airport security scheme. Those three things would be a proctologist, a gynecologist and, of course, any meaningful security since Homeland Security has decided to permit some known terrorists to pass TSA inspections unmolested. If security was a big issue with Homeland Security then I think our borders would be sealed and parts of our country would not have been publicly ceded to drug smugglers, human traffickers, foreign gangs and any aspiring terrorist with enough shoe leather to walk right in unchallenged. Ms. Napolitano says train and bus depots are next on her agenda. I assume after that will be gas stations, truck stops and welcome stations at the state borders. And what has Congress done? They have shamelessly cowered before an out of control bureaucracy slavishly grateful for the TSA decision not to subject certain “high government officials” to the egregious indignities forced upon the people who elected them. What piteous cowards you all are.
Has everyone in Congress gone mad? Are there none in that august body who has read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Federalist Papers? This continued “in-your-face” usurpation of personal freedoms guaranteed in those documents bodes ill for this once free nation. You do know that America has been downgraded from “free” to “mostly free” don’t you? Continued kicking of even the gentlest dog will eventually get your leg bitten. If I am to believe the news, there is a multitude of gentle dogs at that point now and that number grows every time a citizen is needlessly stripped of dignity and publicly groped or digitally photographed nude for the crime of wanting to travel by air. This is not the America I grew up in and certainly not the America envisioned by the founding fathers of this nation. Is this really the best we can do?
If it is Mr. Obama’s intention to ignite a revolution in this country through excessive, and perhaps illegal, regulation, out of control bureaucracies, unaccountable czars and constitutionally questionable executive orders then I see a significant measure of success in his efforts. In polarizing and dividing a nation, his efforts are unparalleled in the entire history of this country. At least there was some reasonable rationale for the Civil War. Mr. Obama’s stated reason for his actions is that America shouldn’t be so big and powerful. Well, Senator, I like America big and powerful and I vehemently resent this individual, who has yet to prove his qualifications to hold office, taking it upon himself to weaken us militarily and economically so we can number ourselves among the failed nations of Europe and elsewhere and not be a threat to any despot or tyrant. What rips the heart out of me is that the very people elected to be a check and balance against such evils were, and many still are, willing accomplices. I hope that changes in January, but, until then, it is just a hope.
I hear the new crop of Republicans railing against these abuses and wringing their hands as to what to do about defunding the Obamacare travesty and other nationally debilitating programs. What a crock! If the new, as well as the old, Republicans were sincere and had any intestinal fortitude at all they would demand the president do three simple things; produce his long-form birth certificate, produce the passport he used to travel to Indonesia when travel there was forbidden American citizens and explain how he came by a social security number from a state he had never, at the date of issue, been in? An inappropriate response to any one of those three simple tasks would open wide an avenue to render the last two years null and void. Simple solutions are very often the best. Doing what is politically safe and expedient is not necessarily synonymous with doing what is morally right as the latter requires character and courage, attributes that seem in short supply.
In closing, Senator, I am 67 years old and I despise, in the strongest possible manner, the fact that, before I pass from this vale of tears, I may be forced to choose to honor my oath to the Constitution or cravenly submit to tyranny as has Congress which is bound by that same oath. Until recently, neither life nor blood has ever been held in greater esteem than honor and freedom by an American. I may be old, but I do not think I can live with the stain of submission to tyranny on my soul. I sincerely hope you can’t either.
Regretfully yours,
William Fortner

The Democrats do not have a caucus; a faction within a legislative body that pursues its interests through the legislative process. Priorities
I have seen a lot of personal change in the last year. I guess I asked for it. I don't know whether my time is short and the Holy Spirit has a lot to do in that short time or whether there is simply just a lot to do. I used to brag that I was the least of the sheep and one day God showed me that I was what I said I was. That really hurt. I decided I didn't want to be the least of the sheep and asked for help. It sure wasn't long in coming and knocking off the many rough edges hurts every now and then. Ten years ago I might have resented it, but now I welcome it. I know my faults are legion and it mystifies me as to why those that concern me the most aren't resolved first. More often than not, some other thing is dealt with that doesn't bother me so much, but it must bother God. My salty language is a major annoyance and an embarrassment to me, but God apparently has other priorities. If He doesn't do something about that soon I may be forced to quit cussing on my own.

A Thought For Today
A thought from a dear friend.
OK. I'd like to offer a thought for the day, if original thinking is allowed.... :-)
"Thank you God, for life!"
Being human we tend to see life as a series of trials and tribulations, difficulties and annoyances, with scattered moments of joy interspersed here and there. Life is really an opportunity of several decades duration to make decisions and then reap the results of those decisions, to choose integrity or dishonesty, faith or cynicism, love or hate or anger, jealousy or acceptance, revenge or forgiveness. From these decisions we grow our souls, no less than we have grown gardens and reaped the fruit. Though we some day shed our bodies, our souls, ripened, move on and live in a place that is ready and suitable for them as harvested.
That's my thought but I think it could apply to more than just a day.

God Is God
A few days ago, I asked why God had a thousand attendants and ten thousand servants as that seemed a bit much even for God. The still, small voice said, "God is God." Roger that! He can have all He wants. :-) Later, I stumbled across Malichai 3:16-18. I guess it takes a lot of help to keep a record of all the prayers and mere thoughts about God. I am not sure ten thousand are enough, particularly in hard times.

Sword Scabbard
I think of this earthly body as a sword scabbard. Over time, the scabbard gets beat up, knocked around, scratched, soiled, weathered and damaged by any number of harmful occurrences, but when the hand that owns the sword, which is the spirit, draws it forth, it is unblemished, shiny and sharp ready to do the work of the Master's hand.

Not Adapting Well
I am not adapting well at all to our new federal government environment. I think it is unconstitutional in just about every aspect. Congress needs to forgo a "vacation" and be forced to take a two month course in high school civics and Gov. 101 and 201 for 8 hours a day six days a week, with an exit test. Failures repeat the course; no pass, no vote. Then they can explain to the electorate, in agonizing detail, exactly how they are going to dismantle unconstitutional legislation dating back to FDR.

Professional Politicians
I don't trust anyone who has been in public office more than 12 years. Congress was never intended to be a career and I dislike career politicians. They are self serving, inveterate nest featherers, pathological liars, professional pickpockets and lean toward imperial arrogance, considering the electorate an unnecessary irritant and an impediment to their continued self awarded life of power and luxury. They inevitably forget who brought them to the dance and why they are there.

Many, many horses were stabled in the cities at the turn of the 20th century. I think someone once said that NYC could never exceed one million people as the horse dookey would rise to the third story. Checking the news this morning, third story is the apparent level of horseshit in ALL the major cities, particularly NYC and Washington DC, and there are very few horses stabled in the cities now. Unsustainable...
Task Force Finds Personnel Entitlements “Unsustainable”
Observation Post columnist Tom Philpott interviewed Maj. Gen. Arnold L. Punaro, USMCR-Ret., chair of a five-member task force of the Defense Business Board that, in October, will recommend to Defense Secretary Robert Gates ways to reduce overhead costs in DoD.
Dear Senator,
Having read the above, I am so angry I could chew nails and spit rust! It is the absolute last straw!
You know what is "UNSUSTAINABLE"? It is having almost half the citizenry not paying any income taxes and, in fact, millions getting up to $8,000.00 "REFUNDS" on income taxes they DID NOT PAY! It is "UNSUSTAINABLE" that almost half of the citizenry is sucking on the public teat via countless vote buying scams, excuse me, social programs, run by Congress and have been doing so for generations, taught how by the preceding generation. It is "UNSUSTAINABLE" that American medical, penal and social services continue providing the care and feeding of upwards of 30,000,000 illegal aliens with thousands more coming every day due to Congress' failure to provide the very basic requirement of government, a secure border.
Providing and sustaining a military force is a Constitutional requirement...read it...a copy is on file at the Library of Congress. I find none of the items listed in the paragraph above in that document as the Constitution DOES NOT PERMIT nor give license in any way for government to be a charitable organization! Quite the contrary!
The current Congress and several before it have woefully failed the American people, have feathered its nest and reneged on its promises to the detriment of the working man and the annuitant who paid into Social Security (A big SOCIALIST mistake) and the retired military person who served with honor and earned a retirement...many didn't, you know. Many are buried on foreign soil where they fell. Many, many more are buried in national cemeteries across the nation. They aren't drawing retirement benefits or availing themselves of Tri Care. But Congress, Congress bestows upon itself undue raises, premium health care and a retirement plan envied by royalty. That, sir, is "UNSUSTAINABLE". Congress usurps medical care in the nation, bails out Wall Street, banks and automobile manufacturers (while slipping the fid to the investors) and pays obscene bonuses to the managers of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae based on "creative accounting". That, sir, is "UNSUSTAINABLE". Electioneering by stealing millions in public funds via rider legislation totally unrelated to the base legislation to "bring home the bacon" and ensure reelection is "UNSUSTAINABLE". In short, Congress seems to have been very, very busy doing everything the Constitution forbids and precious little of what it requires. That, sir, is absolutely "UNSUSTAINABLE".
To find military personnel entitlements unsustainable in the face of the sacrifices made in the past and being made at this very moment and the promises given then and now to secure the personnel to make those sacrifices is, for lack of a stronger word, egregious. To even consider taxing prostheses and medical equipment for wounded warriors is so contemptible and nauseating as to make even a buzzard puke. Having defied the Constitution, the tax payer and the will of the people, my only hope is that, when Congress finishes digging this hole, they fall out of the other side of the earth and into outer space having defied the law of gravity as well. I think Congress can expect a large crowd waving them goodbye in November.

I find it odd that the judicial branch can stop AZ from enforcing federal law, but, even with all the checks and balances built into our republic, that branch refuses to require the administration to enforce its own law. Mission Accomplished...Obama Can Go Home Now.
Barack Obama can leave anytime now. The job he was given to do has been done. The Constitution and rule of law has been so deeply downtrodden into the mire that neither the Administration nor Congress feels bound, in the slightest, by its precepts while we, the people, look on and shrug our shoulders. America's health-care is in shambles as no one knows what his plan does in its entirety. Congress still hasn't read the legislation they passed. The bits and pieces leaking out are frightening. It will be Gordian Knot unravenable for a decade or more, but even then, the damage has already been done. The economy is teetering on the very knife edge of ruin by socialist fiscal policies that produced incredible national debt, waiting only for the slightest zephyr of truth for the dollar to come tumbling down. Business and industry has either shut down or moved off shore leaving this former industrial giant a cottage industry with upwards of 20% of the nation unemployed. The tax base has shrunk to just about 50% with the other half leeching off the ones that still have a work ethic. We have lost the respect of the rest of the world community by the apologetic buffoonery of our leader and the very last shred of national credibility will vanish like a vapor when it is revealed that a non-citizen with the help of powerful backers pulled off the greatest scam in recorded history and no one had the balls to put a stop to it...and, make no mistake about it, it was done with the advice and consent of the entire congress; they knew. Our constitutional congress has been replaced and nullified by Marxist czars who rule the country in reality. Congress has been relegated to passing out money from the remaining taxpayers and printing presses to the ever growing army of slackards and special interests who keep the current congress in office clinging desperately to their fading power as it slips through their fingers and into the hands of unelected entities. Efforts to weaken the nation's defense have been accomplished with remarkable success. Our only edge was technology and vital technology was given or sold to potential enemies by a previous administration and brutally curtailed by this one leaving America at the mercy of a potential enemy that has a standing army just a shade smaller than our entire population. The single, last step may be the formal turn over of America to UN control. Whether that will be done formally by the administration and congress as a final parting insult or just simply allowed to happen as the UN flows in to fill the power vacuum when Obama leaves for whatever reason and total chaos sets in. He could go home to Kenya. The extradition agreement between the US and Kenya allows for several exemptions and Obama is pouring, many say illegally, millions of US dollars into the Kenyan elections to ensure the outcome is favorable. I feel certain that America has been had. I am waiting to see how the rest of this charade plays out. I am afraid the last act will be as bloody as it will be futile. The saddest aspect of this whole disaster is that it could have been avoided by an active and educated electorate and an honest media. The persons responsible for not putting an end to this debacle in time to save the republic stare back at us from the mirror every morning. One fact is irrefutable. This government, as it has become, is not repairable. It must be rebuilt from scratch using the core values of our original founders. Whether America will be given that second chance is no longer in earthly hands.

Die-hard Dishonest
If the population is well armed and uses their equipment rationally and prudently I think the need for police will diminish greatly. I would expect a "bubble" in the mortuary business until stupid criminals are eliminated and the smarter criminals find safer, perhaps even honest, work. The die-hard dishonest can always run for public office.

Catch and Release
Washington just can't seem to get a handle on illegal immigration and the havoc it is wreaking on the states. This is understandable as the problem is distant and does not affect the beltway. The administration has publicly announced they won't deal with the problem and Homeland Security says no problem exists and the borders are secure. The obvious answer to this conundrum is, if Washington can't come to the problem, send the problem to Washington. If illegals have all the rights ascribed by the Administration, one of those rights must surely be to visit the nation's capitol and express their gratitude in person. The ineffective catch and release program preferred by Washington should be embraced, though slightly modified, by the states. Each and every state should contract with a tour bus company and transport all captured illegals non-stop to DC and release them at all the premiere tourists debarkation points; across from the White House, the Capitol Building, the Congressional Office Buildings and the Mall to name but a few. A few thousand buses daily from all across the nation hourly releasing their "catch" of tens of thousands of illegals within the beltway will move the problem to where it may get even this Congress' attention. I think the states might find this a much cheaper solution in the long run. Buses and bag lunches just aren't that expensive compared to the current alternative. It would certainly be a much more satisfying solution.

Marinating In It
The House Un-American Activities Committee used to watch for the incursion of Marxism in the government. That job was taken over by the DOJ. The DOJ can't seem to find ANY evidence of Communism, Socialism or Fascism attacking constitutional government today. Maybe it is because they are marinating in it.

To The Bankers And Financiers
The bankers and financiers who would rule the world by controlling the money supply are ignorant of history and creation. At one time, the mighty Templars, who had no designs on global domination, were bankers to the world and many countries were heavily in debt to them, France in particular. In a single night, the Templars were rounded up, their wealth and property confiscated and they were put to death, often horribly, over several months. You may believe you have great power on a leash and under control, but remember, you are holding the other end of that leash and your nature makes it impossible for you to let go. That power can, and will, turn on you and devour you in the blink of an eye. The instant that power you think you control realizes its salvation is in your destruction you are doomed.
You think you control the power of nations, but nations are governments and government, in particular, has historically proven to be the most capricious and undependable entity ever created by mankind. I believe the only real question in this matter is whether you will be torn apart by an angry mob and suffer a painful end relatively quickly or be placed in a small room to rot for the rest of your lives.
Secondly, you did not create this world and therefore have no lasting power over it. Any control you may think you have comes at the sufferance of One far greater than your small minds can comprehend. Your attempt to control this world may amuse you, but it may not amuse the One who owns the universe. Think about that bankers and financiers.

Silence Is Not Always Golden
The Greatest Generation was, for the most part, silent about their exploits, courage and sacrifice. The same is true for Korea and Vietnam veterans. I think that was a grave error. That well intentioned silence spawned a generation with little national pride who had nothing patriotic to pass on to their children and now we have a population ignorant of the preciousness of freedom and its cost in human terms. Instead of protecting the young from the horror of war as they intended, it has almost certainly set the stage for a repeat as this new generation must relearn what their fathers and grandfathers learned in foxholes and on the beaches. The capacity for carnage and the price of freedom has expanded exponentially since then.

Really Crappy Day
I made up some good ribs last night. The potato salad was made with red potatoes so it wasn't as good as usual. Ya just gotta use the Idahos to make good potato salad. The gristle and bones as well as the pot liquor from parboiling the ribs was a big hit with the dogs.
I think Bo must have gotten a little too much rib fat for his geriatric digestive system. I think that because...well, I was just a couple of steps outside the computer room on the deck smoking a cigarette when Bo the Ancient literally came flying out from under the desk group headed for the door. Bo does not "fly" anywhere, even on his best days, but this was at least as fast as he had ever been, even as a pup. Alarm bells went off in my head and I grabbed for the sliding glass door handle in sheer panic. As near as I can calculate, I was about two, maybe two and a half heartbeats too late. Bo ran headlong into the closed door with a resounding "THUD". Upon impact, the contents of his gut continued forward removing the pressure on his butt which relaxed. A split second later the laws of physics took over, much like dropping a rock in a bucket of water, and the liquid rebounded and shot from his butt about a foot and a half, give or take. It was not just a narrow stream either. The collision addled him for a second causing him to sit back in that mess. I got the door open, got him up and out onto the deck. He wobbled about, plopping down here and there dookey-stamping his butt on my deck in several places.
Dealing with the immediate problem instead of thinking the entire situation through, I ran and got the hose, but the water was turned off in the basement because of the freezing weather. I was not pleased. I ran down the steps to the basement, unlocked the big doggie bunkroom door and turned on the water. I ran back upstairs and shut off the water to the hose that was now spraying willy-nilly about the deck like a mad snake. I realized the faucet below it under the deck was still on so I ran down the front steps, turned it off and ran back up to the deck to wash the crap off Bo before he could repaint the whole deck in brown...no nozzle...crap. I ran to the back door to get the new ones I had just bought and raced back to the hose...it has a quick disconnect fitting on it that was too tight to get off...crap!...down to the basement to find an adapter. I found two and raced back up the stairs, screwed it into the nozzle, plugged it into the hose, turned the water back on and hosed Bo down. It is cold, the water was colder and now I am off his list of fun people to hang with. I parked him in the sun and screwed the other adapter into the jet sprayer and got that on the hose. It took about half an hour to remove all the crappy butt prints from the deck. I shut off the water, hung up the hose and gasped a sigh of relief. My relief was as premature as it was short lived. It was at that point that I realized I should have just closed the door and took care of the carpet first.
The deck is mine and the carpet is Miz Dee's so I can't fault my autonomous prioritizing system, but, in this case, it was in grave error. I opened the sliding glass door, gagged and raced for the basement. I found my wide spatula, ran back upstairs and grabbed a roll of paper towels, a spray bottle of pet stain remover and a Wally World bag. It took ten minutes to scrape the worst of it up, all the time it stank like I was wearing a skunk for a gas mask. I sprayed the resulting horrible stain thoroughly with pet stain remover, then opened the sprayer and poured all of it on. I got the carpet cleaner and started in on the stain. After a couple of carpet cleaner dumpings and refillings, it is down to barely noticeable. If the carpet is ever going to exactly match the rest of the room, I'll have to paint it.
I am sitting here writing this to you almost two hours since the initial event. I am patiently waiting for it to get funny, which I know it eventually will. So far, I am not amused. I can hardly wait until Miz Dee gets home...

Fourth Of July
The Fourth of July is upon us with displays of patriotism and national pride, however, I take exception to those who would wear the flag as clothing. How disrespectful. Most have not earned the right to wear the flag in any manner and flag hats, shirts, pants, swimsuits, even underwear are a sad commentary on the state of true patriotism in this nation. I wonder if any of these people gave even the slightest thought to the fact that the white stripes signify purity and innocence or that the red signifies hardiness and valor. It is also the color of the blood that was shed making this country free. Americans have shed rivers of blood for the precious ideal of freedom and not just American freedom, but the freedom of other nations and peoples. That blood runs just as red and just as freely to this very day. The blue signifies perseverance, vigilance and justice. When we have been slack in those three vital attributes we suffered for it. The red and white stripes signify the 13 new states that were formed by the Constitution of these United States, a timeless document that is the epitome of clarity of thought and purity of purpose. The stars on the blue background enumerate the states currently in this union. Blue is also the color of the heavens above that surround us all and the location of stars in our universe.
I find none of the lofty attributes symbolized by our flag emblazoned on some dolt’s backside or some airhead’s bosom. I will render due honor and faithfulness to the flag and country for which it stands, I will love it, cherish it, protect it and respect it, but I will not wear some shabby replica…ever. I have earned the right to wear the real thing; and I will, for a little while, soon enough.

Compounded Bad Ideas
I took Comedy Central off my favorites list as soon as I heard of their planned "JC" programming. I hope the vast majority of Americans deselect them as well. I am doing what I can to empty their purse and I hope others do the same until they are no longer able to broadcast. If they have that little respect for the people of this country, yet lick the boot of Islam over an equally bad programming idea, then they deserve to be cast into the dust bin of bad ideas. It would be interesting to see if they find an empty purse amusing.

In less than two years, this administration has stripped America of its military power, its economic power and destroyed its respect in the eyes of its greatest enemy. I Am Confused
I am confused, or somebody is. How is it the Obama Administration is considering "legal" action against Arizona for enacting and enforcing what is a essentially a duplicate of federal immigration statutes? Federal law states that it is a crime to be ANYWHERE in the ENTIRE COUNTRY illegally. The Arizona law makes it a crime to be in Arizona illegally. Well...DUH! Did Arizona secede? Master
I watch the struggles as little people subjugate smaller people confined by arbitrary lines on paper and proclaim themselves "master" over them. Now there are those who would subjugate all mankind to be the global master. How foolish; how futile. No man or multitude can be "Master of this World". My Father gave my Master dominion over this small speck in the universe, this universe and countless other universes as yet unseen and untold. My Master holds in His hand the next breath and next heartbeat of any who would call themselves master here. Who, then, is truly master? Only a stupid one would claim dominion over that which cannot be his lest the true owner appear and destroy him. Therefore, would be "masters", you are not mine. I am His. Trouble me no more with your pompous vain glory. My Father cast your father out of His house. Here he is just another homeless wanderer, a dark vagabond with no future.

Realistically Speaking
Realistically speaking, if the administration announced at high noon tomorrow that congress was dissolved and locked the doors what would the people do about it besides whine? If the president declared that the Czars were the new leaders and elections were unnecessary from now on what could you do? If the administration has disbanded the House, it has usurped the public purse and nothing would move in America without administrative say so, not fuel, not food, nothing. Do you think the military would attempt a coup? I don't think so. If the administration turned off the funding for the military, it is stranded in foreign ports and foreign nations. What is at home can't pay the bills to feed or sustain itself. Don't forget, all the administration has to do is feed the inner cities and it instantly has huge, loyal armies all across the nation at its beck and call to which it can grant marque to forage upon the land as their "right" to "take what is theirs". What would America become, a series of ill-armed, ill-prepared communities that are picked off one-by-one by the inner city rabble? Once the seed corn is eaten, the rabble will destroy themselves as they are by nature neither self reliant nor self sustaining by their own hand and the gateway is thrown wide open for "one-world" government, something that could not happen while America stood to oppose it.
I don't think the American people realize what a tenuous grasp they have on freedom, how fearful and determined the enemy or how great the global responsibility that has been thrust upon them by world events.

Speak No Evil
Americans must wake up the fact that this country cannot embrace every religious, social and political idea and remain free. Socialism, Marxism, Communism and Islam are the antithesis of the freedom Americans enjoy, what this country was founded upon and stands for. To survive, America must completely remove all vestiges of the above from within its borders and stop it at the borders; brief visitation privileges only, no permanent anything...period, or the Republic will fall as has Europe and Great Britain. When it is forbidden to speak out against an idea or thing as evil, then it is impossible to refute or defend against it. That right is in the process of being denied as this is written.

All this militia business...bad juju! Be patient! Violent overthrow of the government is totally unnecessary! The first law of American Free Enterprise is that there is absolutely nothing on earth private enterprise cannot do better than government, far faster, more efficiently and far cheaper. The Very Last Words...
The absolute very last words I want to hear coming from the mouth of a Republican or Independent federal representative after November is, "We need to put all this past 'unpleasantness' behind us and get on with the business of mending the country." Well, just BS, in the highest mound possible.
The single most important reason that resulted in the severing of the colonial bonds with England by decree and the foundation of this country by force of arms was justice!! It was unjust to tax the colonies differently; it was unjust to deny them a voice in Parliament: and it was unjust to treat the people of the colonies as less than equals with the British population in general.
What America needs most after the November elections is justice, Justice, JUSTICE, by the carload, the truckload, the trainload and the shipload. Democrats, liberals and Marxists will howl "revenge", but they will be wrong. Their minds can neither embrace nor understand the concept of justice because it runs contrary to their horribly flawed idea of fair which, in itself, condones, no, demands, treating people unfairly. A society cannot survive on anything but justice. Justice is dispassionate and can be written down, codified and enforced. "Fairness" is an emotional response and is a rudderless ship on a storm tossed sea with a compass that swings independent of any true reference. Fairness can no more be codified or enforced than the term happy because its meaning is emotional, varies due to situation changes and is not the same to all people.
A government that has run rough shod over the Constitution, that has treated Americans unequally, that has misspent tax dollars to remain in power, that has garnered support for unwanted legislation by unethical methods, that has nationalized large sections of private enterprise, that has refused to account to the people for billions of tax dollars literally given to major banks and lending institutions, that has refused to investigate known violations of ethics and statue in Fannie Mae and Fredie Mac, that caters to private interests at the expense of public interests, that has given succor and support to our enemies and, in general, that has operated in violation of federal RICO statutes must be brought to justice, from the greatest to the least among its members. The country needs it, the people demand it and they will get it; it only remains to be seen whether the acquisition will be bloodless or not. The one thing justice WILL NOT any longer be is denied. This country CAN NOT heal without it.
After the grand juries and trials, congress needs to be about the business of reviewing every single statute on the books and repealing every single one that does not have a solid base in or that does violence to the spirit of the Constitution of the United States. This must be done to reverse the creeping socialism that has been encroaching on American society for eight decades. It takes but minutes, hours at most, to set the course for the longest journey, but it will take time to get there. No matter how frequent or how severe the storms enroute, given due diligence to the set course and the preservation of the vessel, arrival at the intended destination is all but inevitable.

Only Men Get Old
Only men get old. Women put on years like a gossamer shawl or slip into them like a radiant mantle. Some, the most fascinating of all, swirl the years about their necks like a colorful scarf casting the ends rakishly behind them, set their backs into the wind and sail off into uncharted waters shrieking with delight.

Bread And Circuses?
On Sunday, March 21st, 2010, a day that will live forever in infamy, American freedom was brutally attacked and crushed by the Oligarchy of Obama, the most openly corrupt and inept government since ancient Rome. What will the citizenry now do? Will we rise up and demand a return to the U.S. Constitution and life as free men and women, or will we cravenly roll over as whimpering, whipped dogs, grateful for any crumbs that fall from the table of our new masters? What will it be, my fellow Americans, constitutional freedom and the rule of law...or bread and circuses?

To All The "Beautiful Women" In My Life...
I sent the video clip of Celtic Women out yesterday. Many of you have seen it by now. If you missed it for some reason, try here: God Gives Us Strength: Celtic Woman - You Raise Me Up
One such beautiful woman did see and listen to it and wrote back:
"This brought tears to my eyes. I loved it so I went and ordered it! I already have one CD of the Celtic Woman and I play it often. I am looking forward to getting this new one. By the way, IMHO, I believe a woman's true beauty is not her face or her body but instead is in her voice and how she uses it. These ladies are extraordinarily beautiful!"
While trying to sort my thoughts to reply in my normal BS manner, I found the depth of the subject too great for that. The following tumbled out instead:
I just plain love women in general, however, the voice of an angel is but a small part of the true beauty of a woman. I pity those women who have given up the lilting sound of an angel for the coarse nag of the fishwife; those who have looked outward so much that they have lost touch with the gold that is inside, who have forgotten that they are mysteriously and wonderfully made by an all wise God. A mother tenderly breast feeding a child, has got to be the epitome of what is good and wonderful in this world, the very essence of love and devotion. The only thing of equivalent worth a man can do is to love them more than himself and lay down his life to protect them if need be.
The longer I live, the more astonished I am as to the length, depth and breadth of womanhood. The first inkling of that wisdom came when I realized that a woman could take me to incredible places that I could not go on my own. If a voice or physical beauty were the only attributes of which women could boast, there would not be the countless millions of men, both young and old, who love them and often worship the very ground on which they stand even though a woman's mantle of years may reach near to her feet. No, women are so very much more than a pretty face, a delightful composite of curves or an aura of sultry sexuality. I am 66 now and, were I to live another ten lifetimes and devote myself exclusively to documenting that which is a woman, it would not be nearly enough time, nor would I be able to touch their real essence. I can think of no other creature on earth who can touch a man so deeply and be so vital to his well being that the mere sound of her moving in another room can provide soothing comfort to his troubled mind and spirit. And what incredible power they have! They can mend or melt with a soft murmur or a smile; or they can utterly destroy with a single word or even a look of disappointment carelessly directed.
I learned early on that women were an integral part of my life, though that scope has broadened immeasurably from my radically hormone-charged youth to my more or less older and wiser adulthood. I feel deep sadness for those women who do not respect themselves enough to restrict their favors and become hollow receptacles for callus men. To be intimate with a woman is not to be taken lightly. That closeness should engender a certain shared respect, tenderness and responsibility to both parties. If it does not, then it is merely mutual masturbation without hands. When a woman lovingly invites a man into her body it IS a VERY big deal, or should be, as the man joins with her spirit as well as well as her body. Some women with an extraordinary capacity for love share their very soul with their mate during that closeness. That is a priceless gift far beyond anything else found on earth.
It remains for men to love women as best they can and be rough and ready to do violence to protect them. Not really the high calling assigned to women, but essential to permit them the freedom to be that which God intended.
Thank you for being a "beautiful woman" in my life. All those I know seem to have been constructed with an extra measure of the quintessence of womanhood and are seemingly immune to the Pneumatic Cranial Syndrome I see so often today. Women able to think with the entirety of their being are not all that common. I am the most fortunate of men.

Walking Blind In A Cow Pasture
When true patriots rise up in the strength of their numbers, united against that which would destroy us as a nation, then will this nation see its former greatness. When we, as a people, again love liberty more than comfort or even life itself, then will the beacon on the hill be relit and shine into the darkest corners of the world and expose the evil that threatens all people. Until we are willing to confront that evil head on and defeat it, we continue to walk blind and barefoot in a cow pasture holding our noses and hoping for the best.

By Our Own Hands
I never cease to be amazed that Americans are forbidden to publicly call upon the name of the God to whom the founders of this nation called upon with great frequency and humility for guidance and support in creating and sustaining this once great nation. How is it this very same God to whom we readily and publicly bent our knees in national supplication and who saw us safely through countless disasters and wars up to and including 9/11 is now somehow not welcome by government in any public forum? I fail to see the logic, legislative wisdom or juris prudence that permits and protects the utterance of the most egregious filth in public, but prohibits prayer in any form in that same venue. The term “consenting adults” was the lever used by the self indulgent to pry open the door to every kind of outlandish, perverted and destructive public behavior imaginable. How is it then that the only behavior apparently denied consenting adults is public prayer?
I note with utter disgust that those who would eliminate all reference to the Christian God for the sake of political correctness, readily bestow upon Islam essentially a “most favored religion status” in the name of diversity, thus granting Muslims marque to proselytize, without any real fear of retribution, by any and all means including deceit, terror, torture and murder, anywhere on the face of the earth they choose. Christians, however, may not even mention the name of their God in the public square in their own country for fear of the grievous harm it may do. How utterly absurd.
I cannot think of any nation in history that has experienced any trouble destroying itself. If it takes a disaster to remove the scales from our eyes, bend our knees and soften our stiff necks, then a disaster we shall get, wrought by our very own hands and not the hands of God.

Racism In America
Racism will end when Americans forbid their government from sorting them by race in a census or having a section for race identification on any government document. If the government is an entity that represents us equally as indicated in the Preamble to the Constitution it has no need for that information other than to divide us against ourselves. Are we Americans, or are we not?

It Matters Little
We have been dragged a long way in the wrong direction away from our fundamental, historical values. God gave the Israelites the Promised land, but they had to fight to get it and hold it. When they stopped fighting for it, they lost it. The average American is becoming complacent, taking freedom for granted, and we are losing our promised land. If this slide, now headlong race, into destruction is not stopped, our country and way of life is doomed. Out of necessity, every home will have to become a fortress and every community an armed camp to defend against the wards of the government who have not learned personal responsibility, have neither family nor moral values, have no work ethic, have not bothered to avail themselves of a free education and have no interest in self reliance or taking care of themselves. Having been given entitlement to the fruits of the labor of others, they will inevitably endeavor to take by force what they perceive as theirs by right when the government can no longer provide it. Once a slave, always a slave, whether to Massa's plantation, the government plantation or to one's basest instincts. It matters little in the end.

DC Becoming An Armed Camp?
First the IRS orders 60 short-barreled shotguns and now the Department of education is ordering 27 of the same. Are the denizens of Foggy Bottom becoming fearful of tar and feathers and frightened of those they claim to serve? What next, will the Congress order 500 plus Bradley Fighting Vehicles as commuter cars? Will Ms. Pelosi require a squadron of F-22s as an escort for her flights home? Will Harry Reid want an A-1 Abrams tank to get about DC safely? Will the President feel it necessary to recall all the military forces from around the world to Washington to ensure his safety? It is good for government to fear the people. It is tragic when it does not. Fear of the governed is the beginning of wisdom for those who govern.

Most Important and Pressing
The most important and pressing thing Americans must do to preserve the country is to stop politicians from buying votes from non-taxpayers with abundant gifts from the treasury. There is no constitutional right to vote and America cannot continue to let those who do not contribute to society vote themselves more and more entitlements via self serving politicians. Only income tax or real estate taxpayers should be permitted to vote. That will effectively disconnect politicians from the welfare state entitlement class and connect them to the working class who support this country with blood sweat and taxes. Failure to do this will continue the progression that will soon reach the tipping point that makes working and supporting this country unfeasible. We need to return to near 100% self reliance and self responsibility if we are to survive as a nation. If we do this now, over time, the coming tipping point will start to reverse and the situation will correct itself. We cannot survive with only half of the population paying taxes and that number dwindling daily.

Compelling Motivators
We will never know about Mr. Obama's origins since the courts have found no one in America who has the legal "standing" to challenge his authenticity in court, not even the lofty Supreme Court. A complicit Democrat controlled congress certainly isn't and the Republicans have sat on their thumbs too long to say anything now. They would look like the spineless cowards they are. I can at least understand the Democrats. Self preservation and fear of indictment are compelling motivators.

Trapped
There is a distinct difference between being an American and assuming the facade of being an American. This man has few American childhood roots and they are very tenuous at best.
Pity the man who is neither black nor white, steeped in his formative years in fascism, socialism and Islam with very short roots in Americana and little experience in true Christianity, thrust by an unthinking electorate into the highest seat of government to administer a country that is awakening to its deep roots in Christianity, it's fierce love of freedom, a visceral distrust of government and a strong determination to return to the Constitution laid down by its founding fathers. That man is trapped between two worlds; bound to one by heritage and chained to another by law, and now doomed to never be effective or comfortable in either.

Objects Of Pity
I pity those few ultra rich who have only the competition among themselves for world domination to provide any stimulation or pleasure in life. They will never know the thrill of seeing spring's first jonquil or enjoy a night of untroubled sleep. What power corrupted, wretched lives they must live knowing they will not long enjoy the fruits of their struggle and that all they have will soon pass to another; even their names will be forgotten, having impressed neither the pawns in their game nor their Maker. On Shopping vs Buying
I was recently queried on this subject by a delightful member of the opposite sex and consider it my civic, yea patriotic, duty to shed light on the matter.
Shopping occurs when women go into stores with absolutely no intention of buying anything. They are sort of keeping up with what is available should the fever hit them. It is a sort of la-de-dah event and can actually be covertly blended with buying needed things by the skilled practitioner. Shopping is going down each and every aisle even when you know you don't want or need anything from that aisle.
Buying is a manly activity based solely on need and dates back to the stone age. For example; me need shirt...me hunt shirt...me find shirt...me stalk shirt...me kill shirt...me bring shirt home. Today, in the civilized world, it is: me need shirt...me go to specific location shirts are known to be...me find okay shirt...me buy shirt...me bring shirt home...me wear shirt with new-shirt wrinkles to proudly proclaim "new shirt" and success as a hunter/buyer.
I hope this clears it up for you. :-)

Explosive filled breast implants are the latest threat to infidels. What sick, twisted mind would even conceive of turning a true font of life and one of God's most delightful gifts to man into a weapon of mass destruction (depending on cup size). Have we reached that nadir of human degradation where all female air passengers must be stripped to the waist and inspected for fuzed nipples? What is next, explosive loaded penises so jihadis can get their rocks off with a bang? On the upside, that would cause little damage while most assuredly reducing the heavy demand for virgins in Islamic heaven.

Gun Grabbers
The gun grabbers really irritate me when they insinuate that the mere possession of a firearm suddenly turns a law abiding citizen into a threat to society and the streets of America into a virtual shooting gallery of murder and mayhem while ignoring overwhelming statistical evidence to the contrary. Regarding Arizona's proposed legislation to lift all restrictions on the concealed carry of firearms, the left wailed, "now criminals will be walking the streets carrying concealed weapons." This confuses me. Criminals have always walked the streets carrying concealed weapons, law or no law. Does this mean that citizens are now criminals because they are prepared to defend themselves against those who, by their very nature and chosen occupation, disregard the law as a matter of principle? Unfounded hysteria does not reflect reality.

Horse Trading
Congressmen and women should not engage in "horse trading" to get what they want. It is unseemly for one end of the horse to sell the other.

Chris Matthews' Leg
Scott Brown won the senate race in Massachusetts against incredible odds... and Chris Matthews' leg fell clean off....

Tiger Woods
God bless Tiger Woods. He has given America the opportunity to laugh at his expense and made it possible for the deviant media to continue to avoid reporting substantive news.

Old Dogs
One thing I have learned is that old dogs do not adhere to human whims any more than old people adhere to the whims of the younger generation. The only difference is that old dogs have limited ways to show annoyance. It is advisable for humans, young and old, to watch where they step around an old dog. The same is true for politicians around old folks.

Launch the Drones and Satellites?
Must the people of America launch drones in the Oval Office and orbit spy satellites in all congressional chambers to know what this, The Most Transparent Government Ever, is planning behind closed doors to do to them, the economy, their way of life and their future?

No Energy Crisis
If congress and the administration would reveal the secret of how they run elections and pass legislation with hot air and bullshit there would be no energy crisis. They generate enough for America with plenty left over to sell.

Horse Mackerel
Over in Asia, they call a horse's tail dock a "mackerel" and they like to eat it boiled. That's why you see so much of their ancient artwork depicting tail-less horses. Hmmmmm...maybe we can work out a deal with China. There is no shortage of horse's asses in DC and many of them are for sale.

Who Is The Servant?
It appears that, while people lying to the government is a serious felony, the government lying to the people isn't even a misdemeanor or a matter for our concern. The government can conspire against the people behind closed doors with impunity, but they want to know every move we make and every thought we think. What is wrong with this picture? Who is the servant and who is the master according to the Constitution and Bill of Rights?

The Crucible.
America was fired in a crucible of pain and suffering and forged by God into a nation of laws and freedom. In our founding documents, wise men gave substance to this new concept of freedom guaranteed by law and by so doing, signed both their names and their death warrants.
I weep at today's state enabled ignorance of our history and tolerance for mediocrity that has allowed many of the people to be robbed of their dignity and many others their decency. Instead of being anchored in the bedrock of the Constitution and Bill of Rights we are afloat on a tumultuous sea of fiat currency worth only the paper on which it is printed while the ship of state is steered by the whim of small people bereft of patriotism, corrupted by greed and power and beholding to those entities that fund their tenure at the peril of the nation and the expense of the people. Gone are the statesmen capable and willing to steer the ship of state away from the rocks of self serving legislation and the shoals of ever expanding government usurpation of our rights and freedoms.
I was shocked to learn that congress was passing legislation and the administration was signing it into law without reading it, then I realized how foolish I was to be disturbed. Congress and the administration took a solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, a document many of them had not studied, were not familiar with or, apparently, had not even read judging from their public comments.
American men and women have frequently and valiantly fought for the freedom of others and still fight to this day on foreign soil for the freedom of former(?) enemies while we at home do little more than whine and cry out for justice instead of mustering the courage and unity to enforce it as is our inalienable right.
Two hundred and thirty-four years ago Americans stood against a powerful, oppressive, unresponsive and overreaching government and declared their independence to King George III. They backed that declaration with their personal treasure, their courage, their blood and their lives that their children and their children’s children for generations to come could live free in a just society.
In view of their great sacrifice, what right, what possible excuse do we have to pass on massive debt, penury and government contrived servitude, of which we almost all disapprove, to our children and their children’s children for generations to come? Have we become unworthy to call ourselves Americans?

From The Rubble
Our children will have to rebuild America from the rubble caused by those who are woefully ignorant of the founding of this country and have a cavalier attitude towards the documents that forged it. Maybe they will understand that it is wise to limit congress and the administration to two terms to minimize corruption and ensure every state has a recall system for those unable to wield the power of the people wisely and impartially.

Most Transparent
So far, the only things transparent in this "Most Transparent" congress and administration is the lack of respect for the Constitution, an absence of moral values, a total lack of character and patriotism, incredible ineptitude and self serving legislation, an abundance of greed and disdain for the electorate and a morbid fear of truth.
